One person is dead following a traffic crash in Northglenn that injured three others, officials said Saturday.

The crash happened on East 120th Avenue coming off the Interstate 25 exit around 3 p.m. Friday, according to a Northglenn Police Department news release.

Investigators determined that the driver of an Audi exited I-25 northbound onto East 120th Avenue and hit at least one vehicle. The Audi continued to cross the center median, hitting another vehicle head on in the westbound lane.

Both vehicles spun and hit a final vehicle before coming to a stop.

Three people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, and the fourth injured person was pronounced dead Saturday morning, the release said.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact Sgt. Jeff Herronen at 303-450-8958 or jherronen@northglenn.org.
