Getting your player ready...

Saturday. Like most male-dominated professions, science can seem like an intimidating field for young women to break into. The Denver Museum of Nature & Science, along with CBS4, is not taking that for granted. The second annual “Girls and Science Event” hopes to outline a clear path into science for girls by offering a family-friendly career fair for all ages. Girls can participate in activities that let them test and play in various science, technology, engineering, arts and math disciplines as part of the “Science Clubhouse.” Aimed at ages 8-13. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. March 5 at 2001 Colorado Blvd. $4 per girl, although none will be turned away. Call 303-370-6000 or visit for details.
