1 Man found in crawl space. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded Feb. 21 to St. Elizabeth’s Church, 17700 Deckers Road, Pine (not on map), where a man was found in the crawl space. He was alive but unresponsive; the reporting party suspected he had a stroke. The man’s spouse said he drank a half-gallon of vodka before leaving home earlier that morning.

2 Chicken feeder damaged. Golden police received a report of criminal mischief at the Clear Creek Living History Park, 1020 11th St., on Feb. 21. The reporting party said the machine that dispenses chicken feed for visitors to give chickens was vandalized Feb. 20 twice; first around 10 a.m. and again around 6 p.m. The cost of the damage was around $25.

3 BB beats Cannonball. Staff at Cannonball Creek Brewing Company, 393 Washington Ave., Golden, reported Feb. 16 that a window had been shot out the night before using a BB, which was found at the scene. There were no suspects.

4 Suspect evades police. Golden police went to Holiday Inn Express, 17140 W. Colfax Ave., Golden, on Feb. 18. A witness reported hearing a man and woman fighting and slaps coming from a room. The room was empty when police arrived. The only evidence was a description of a vehicle and a man who identified himself as “Benjamin Dover,” which police assumed was a fake name.

5 Man arrested after art damaged. Jeffco deputies arrested a man in the 20000 block of Troutdale Scenic Drive, Evergreen, after he and his girlfriend confirmed he threw a painting down stairs during an argument, causing it to break.
