Golden-based HomeAdvisor moved its Colorado Springs operation to the InterQuest business park at 9910 Federal Drive this week.

HomeAdvisor, which matches home-service contractors to consumers, expanded into Colorado Springs last Spring when it at the former . At the time, the company was looking for a more permanent space.

That space is a 21,000-square-foot office at 9910 Federal Drive. In the past year, the company has gone from zero to 140 employees in Colorado Springs. (And when the company started hiring there last year, 1,100 people applied, .) The larger office space has room to hire another 100 people.

Most of the employees in Colorado Springs work in sales jobs, which pay top performers “” according to the job description. Brooke Gabbert, HomeAdvisor’s vice president of communications, said these six-figure wage earners are about 10 percent of its sales force.

HomeAdvisor, which employs 1,900 people worldwide, is part of IAC/InterActiveCorp., which owns a mix of different Internet companies. IAC reported last month that HomeAdvisor’s 2015 revenues grew 27 percent last year to $361.2 million.

The company has used its growth to expand. It’s currently to move its headquarters.
