A 19-year-old man died Wednesday after a ski incident at Copper Mountain Resort.
The skier was heading down the American Flyer intermediate trail when the incident happened about 11 a.m.
The resort’s ski patrol responded and provided emergency first aid before the man was taken to St. Anthony’s Copper Mountain Clinic, officials say.
The death is under investigation, according to the resort.
Further information was not immediately released.
The death was the second reported on Colorado slopes Wednesday. A 49-year-old Colorado Springs man Ski Resort.
