1 Man asks for cigarette, takes wallet. On March 5, a man called Denver police after he was robbed in the 3400 block of West Colfax Avenue. The victim said he was approached by the suspect, who asked for a cigarette and a ride, then pulled a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet.

2 Disturbance at Burger King. A woman called police March 6 after a customer was unruly at Burger King, 1680 E. Colfax Ave. The suspect was cursing in the store and had been asked to leave by staff. He was apprehended by police.

3 Burglar at wrong house. On March 4, a woman called police to report a burglar breaking a window to get into her home in the 1700 block of Xanthia Street. The woman said she and her sons awoke to the man banging on the door, asking for two men who did not live at the house. He then used a stool to break a window on her porch.

4 Sweater stolen in robbery. A man called police March 2 after he was robbed at gunpoint in the 2900 block of West Fourth Avenue. The victim said he was approached by a man who demanded his things. The victim said he didn’t have anything and the suspect flashed a gun. The victim tried to run, but was hit in the head. The victim wrestled away from the suspect by removing his sweater. When he went back for the item, he found his phone and money missing.

5 Trespassers reported. On March 8, a property owner called police to report two trespassers in the 600 block of Grant Street. The property was secured by a fence and had signs warning trespassers.
