DENVER AT CLEVELAND

Spotlight on LeBron James:

The Cavaliers are 11-6 since the NBA all-star break and continue to evolve under new coach Tyronn Lue, but one thing remains the same — longtime star LeBron James is in the middle of whatever success the team has. King James is averaging 24.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game since the break.

NOTEBOOK

Nuggets:

They are wrapping up a five-game road trip with the most difficult task of all, which is beating the Cavaliers in Cleveland. Veteran forward Kenneth Faried is questionable for Monday’s game. He has missed two consecutive games because of a sore back.

Nuggets Mailbag:

Cavaliers:

They have the third-best home record in the NBA at 28-6. And they have won five of their past six home games. Also, they have won four of their past five meetings with the Nuggets, including a 93-87 victory in Denver on Dec. 29. Veteran guard Mo Williams (knee) won’t play Monday.
