Von Miller, the Broncos’ Super Bowl MVP turned ballroom dancer, will show off his new moves Monday during the season 22 premiere of “Dancing With the Stars,” which airs at 7 p.m. on ABC.
Since winning Super Bowl 50 and the game’s MVP award, Miller has embarked on a seemingly nonstop media tour, appearing on multiple talk shows before beginning his DWTS training in Los Angeles.
Miller certainly isn’t the first NFL player to be a contestant (Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Donald Driver have all won Mirrorballs), and he isn’t the only one this season. Steelers receiver Antonio Brown and former quarterback Doug Flutie are both vying for the title.
Miller, who is partnered with season 19 winner Witney Carson, has posted glimpses into his new training regimen and dance routine on social media. But the pair is not favored to win it all, according to . (Jimmy Kimmel , as well, which, you know, is basically a guarantee that he will win.)
After beating Cam Newton and the Panthers on the biggest NFL stage, Miller’s biggest obstacle to a dancing title is Brown. And maybe Stephanie Tanner, er Jodie Sweetin.
