Denver’s coroner on Tuesday identified the 49-year-old bicyclist killed in the city’s River North District.
Jeffrey Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The medical examiner’s office said he died of blunt force injuries.
Edwards was struck by a vehicle about 3 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 29th Avenue and Brighton Boulevard, police said.
Investigators said after the crash that they had possibly located a suspect vehicle in the case.
Further details on the investigation have not been released.
Doug Schepman, a police spokesman, said Tuesday that an investigation into the case remains active and ongoing.
