ABC’s cat-and-mouse hour from the Shonda Rhimes hit factory joined the Thursday lineup this week (at 9 p.m. on KMGH-Channel 7), filling the hour temporarily abandoned by “How To Get Away with Murder.” If the promo isn’t enough, the pilot should suffice.
Starring Mireille Enos (slick to the point of unrecognizable from “The Killing”) and Peter Krause (“Parenthood,” “Six Feet Under”), it was a mashup of the rich-people-porn and sleuth formula: gaze upon the lifestyles of the 1 percent and watch as a chase ensues amid much sexual tension.
Alice Vaughan (Enos) is L.A.’s top private investigator, a tough babe not to be treated lightly. Her fiancé, Benjamin Jones (Krause), cons her out of millions and disappears. Going forward, Alice will be out for payback for however long the series lasts.
From the producers of “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How to Get Away with Murder,” here comes another very slick look at What Women Want for TGIT on the couch.
