1 Roof dwellers. The owner of the Palmer Plaza office building at 11455 Washington St., Northglenn noticed Feb. 19 that someone spray painted the walls of the second floor of the building. He told police that he has been having problems with people sleeping on the roof of the building. The officer found several cans of spray paint up on the roof later.

2 Suspicious drive by. A woman who lives in the 6300 block of 79th Court, Commerce City, heard an idling car in front of her house March 16. A car with its lights off was sitting outside, and she said a man sitting in the passenger seat rolled down the window and shot a gun at the house a few times. Officers found the bullet casings, but there are no suspects.

3 It runs in the family. A patrolling police officer stopped in the 7200 block of East 60th Avenue, Commerce City, when he saw a teenage girl following a boy, crying and screaming at him. The kids were dating and had been fighting Feb. 21. The officer called the girl’s mother after she refused to calm down, and her mother said her daughter’s hot temper is genetic. The girl was cited for interfering with police.

4 Underage drinking. Police were called to the 2700 block of Bradley Place, Thornton, where they caught a teenage girl drinking alcohol Feb. 26. She was cited.

5 Dumped furniture. An officer noticed someone stop on the side of the road in the 10900 block of Havana Street, Commerce City, and unload a broken TV stand next to the street before driving away March 17. There are no suspects.
