A group of teen boys robbed a pair of teenagers at gunpoint over a hoverboard, Denver police said Tuesday.

The victims — two teenage boys — were walking near south Vrain Street and west Ellsworth Avenue in the afternoon when a group of three to four teen boys in a red SUV or pickup truck confronted the victims at gunpoint and took a hoverboard, said Denver police spokesman Doug Schepman.

No one was injured during the confrontation.

The suspect vehicle, which police believe to be have a Colorado license plate 394 VQI, was last seen heading eastbound on Ellsworth Avenue, Schepman said.

If anyone spots the vehicle, Schepman said to call police with the location.
