Sacramento at Denver

When: 7 p.m. Saturday
TV/Radio: ALT, 950 AM

Spotlight on Willie Cauley-Stein:

The sixth pick in the NBA draft last summer, right before the Nuggets chose Emmanuel Mudiay, has picked up his play as the Kings’ season draws to a close. In a four-game span before Sacramento’s Friday night game against the Miami Heat, Cauley-Stein averaged 16.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals, and the former Kentucky star has shot 57.1 percent from the field. He was projected to be an all-everything, full-of-energy player — and the 7-foot center is showing the Kings he can be just that.

NOTEBOOK

Nuggets:

After splitting a pair of games on their latest road trip, the Nuggets return home for four straight. Four of their last five games of the season will be played at the Pepsi Center. … The Nuggets finished March with a loss, but it still was their first winning month of the season. They went 9-8 in March. … Jusuf Nurkic remains questionable for Saturday night’s game because of an illness. All other players who have been playing of late are expected to be available. Darrell Arthur, however, appeared on the injury report because of a sore left knee after scoring a career high-tying 24 points in Denver’s 101-95 loss at New Orleans on Thursday.

Kings:

Sacramento comes into Saturday’s game for the second of a back-to-back set. The Kings played at home against Miami on Friday, and did so without center DeMarcus Cousins. He served a one-game suspension for an accumulation of technical fouls. … The Kings are 3-15 this season in the second games of back-to-back sets. They will bring a three-game road losing streak to Denver.
