Denver music faithful, your day has arrived: has announced the initial roster of artists that will storm South Broadway this summer.

Thee Oh Sees, Allah Lahs and Polica are your headliners for the 2016 UMS. Other confirmed artists include San Fermin, Bright Lights Social Hour, Lee Fields and the Expressions, Ultimate Painting and many more. Check out the full lineup below, and look for more performers to be announced for the July 28-31 festival in the coming weeks.

National acts aside, this year’s UMS will sport a veritable who’s-who of upcoming local bands. Denver’s The Yawpers, who have transitioned from local to national act, are probably the fastest-rising of the Colorado names here. But if you’re savvy to the local music scene, you’ll find a lot more to be excited about: Fort Collins’ Sound of Ceres, Denver psych bands Flaural and Plum and the elusive-but-promising Sunboy are just a few bands you should be triple-underlining when the UMS releases the 2016 festival’s schedules in July.
