The teaser trailer for the latest installment in the Star Wars series is out.
The first look at “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” was unveiled on “Good Morning America” on Thursday morning. The movie — featuring a cast that includes Felicity Jones, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker and Alan Tudyk — takes place before “Star Wars: A New Hope.”
“It goes into new territory, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know,” producer Kathleen Kennedy said in a news release.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is directed by Gareth Edwards and is slated for a Dec. 16, 2016 release.
