A 24-year-old man was convicted Monday of first-degree murder , prosecutors say.
Patrick James Orozco Jr. was found guilty following a trial that began last week, court records show.
Orozco was arrested in the November 2014 fatal shooting of 23-year-old Eugenio Solorio-Gomez Jr. He was for four days before his arrest.
in September that an earlier trial in the case against Orozco was halted by a judge after a public defender had “a reasonable concern for safety.”
Orozco is set to be sentenced on April 29.
