A Colorado Springs boy is accused of stabbing his mother during an altercation Monday afternoon, police say.
The alleged attack happened just before 4 p.m. Monday on the 2500 block of King Street where officers found the mother with a “significant” cut to her arm.
The boy, identified only as a juvenile male, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and menacing. He was booked into the Spring Creek Juvenile Detention Center.
The mother was treated at a local hospital and released, police say.
