1 Thief mistreats restroom. A shoeless man carrying a pair of jeans asked to use the bathroom at an antique shop in a shopping center at 5910 S. University Blvd., Greenwood Village, on March 9. He came out in the blue jeans and left through the back door. He clogged the toilet and left his torn sweat pants on the floor. Witnesses said they saw him steal the jeans from a nearby consignment shop moments prior.

2 Who steals heart meds? A health-care worker reported two prescription bottles were missing from her purse after a shift at a facility she is temporarily assigned to in the 1000 block of West Mineral Avenue, Littleton, on March 17. The pills were for concentration and her heart.

3 Packages go poof. A woman dropped five packages in the UPS box in the 5900 block of South Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Greenwood Village, on March 7 but none were delivered. UPS said the driver who stopped there that day said the box was empty when it usually has 30 packages in it. The woman was mailing checks.

4 Car break-in raises identity theft fears. A woman living in the 1600 block of West Canal Circle, Littleton, found her garage door open March 18. Someone ransacked the car and took a folder containing personal information, including her Social Security number.

5 Lying only makes it worse. A witness saw a passenger and driver switch seats following a head-on crash on Sante Fe Drive just north of west Mineral Avenue in Littleton on March 21. After twice denying it, the passenger was arrested for providing false info.
