Dwyer has two goals in five MLS games against Colorado.
NOTEBOOK
Rapids:
Colorado (2-2-1) enters the match on three days of rest after falling 1-0 at Real Salt Lake on Saturday. Colorado has had only four healthy defenders in its past two games. Defenders Sean St. Ledger (knee), Jared Watts (hamstring) and Marlon Hairston (hamstring) will miss another match. However, defender Mekeil Williams could make his return after issues with his P1 work visa in Trinidad and Tobago. A photo on his Instagram account Tuesday showed Williams at the airport. “Bye TnT, see you soon Denver,” Williams said in the post. … Colorado’s problem has been an inability to score goals. The Rapids are tied for last in goals (three) despite ranking sixth in shots (77).
Sporting:
SKC (4-1-0) leads MLS in wins this year and sit atop the Western Conference standings. Sporting is tied with Colorado for fewest goals allowed in MLS this season (three).
Footnotes:
The match is being played on the 20th anniversary of Colorado’s inaugural game with Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium. Colorado has won 19-of-55 meetings, including the past two.
