Commerce City is that will recommend pieces to be displayed at several sites.
Each committee will develop selection criteria and consider the possibilities for one particular site during three meetings over a six-month period. Projects are slated for Tower Road, new and existing recreation centers, Fronterra Park, Turnberry Park and Villages at Buffalo Run East Park.
The committees will pass their recommendations to the Commerce City Cultural Council. If that group approves, it will send the proposed art to the city council for final approval.
