COLORADO SPRINGS — Members of the Colorado Springs police violent crimes unit and staff from the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s office are investigating after a man was found shot to death Saturday outside a home on the 300 block of Bonnie Court.
Police spokesman Sgt. James Sokolik said officers to went to the area after getting reports of a possible death. The man had at least one gunshot wound, Sokolik said, but would not say whether detectives suspect foul play.
If the El Paso County Coroner rules the death a homicide, it would the first in Colorado Springs in 2016.
