A 21-year-old woman died Friday of injuries she received in a single-vehicle crash in Fort Collins last week.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause and manner of death, as well as toxicology results, in the death of Ariel Cartin of Fort Collins.
Fort Collins police were notified about 1:09 am. Thursday of the crash in the 1600 block of West Mulberry Street.
A silver-colored 2005 Suzuki Grand Vitara was traveling eastbound on Mulberry Street when it left the roadway and struck a tree before coming to rest near a home, according to a press release from Fort Collins Police Services.
Cartin was extricated from the vehicle by Poudre Fire Authority. She was transported by helicopter to the Medical Center of the Rockies.
