The Littleton Fire Department is working on a single residence house fire in Highlands Ranch with assistance from South Metro Fire Rescue, according to the South Metro Fire Rescue Twitter account.
Lauren Lekander with the Douglas County Sheriff Department said the sheriff’s department also has multiple deputies on scene on Mountain Maple Avenue assisting with traffic control.
There are currently no known injuries or known cause of the fire, but it has been determined that the house is going to be a “total loss,” according to Lekander.
The neighboring houses were also evacuated as a safety precaution, but the fire didn’t spread to any other residences, according to Lekander.
