
1 Undercovers catch ticket scalper. A man was arrested April 8 after undercover officers caught him selling Rockies home opener tickets for a price above face value near the intersection of 20th and Wazee Streets. An undercover officer saw the man selling tickets and approached him to buy one. The suspect offered a $6 general admission for the Rooftop for $100. the suspect was arrested and his other tickets were confiscated.
2 Suspect caught trespassing at Starbucks. A police officer on patrol April 10 stopped and cited a man for loitering in front of a Starbucks, 1050 W. Colfax Avenue. The business was closed and there were signs prohibiting trespassing. The owner of the coffee shop also had a agreement with the city to cite trespassers.
3 Man assaults police. A man was arrested April 11 after assaulting a police officer in the 2300 block of Broadway. The suspect was leaning against a wall and making obscene gestures against the police. When police approached him, he said he needed sugar and this is where his girlfriend lived. When police tried to check him for weapons, he resisted and hit an officer in the face. He was Tased and taken to the ground.
4 Suspects arrested for having marijuana concentrate contraband. Two men were arrested April 6 for possessing marijuana concentrate contraband near the intersection of Paris Street and East 47th Avenue. The suspects were stopped because their plates were in the windows of the car rather than in the correct areas. Upon searching the car, police found marijuana, cooking pans and butane gas.
