El Paso County authorities on Tuesday arrested a 62-year-old man accused of attempted murder in a stabbing near Colorado Springs.
Anthony Sid Walker is also suspected of first-degree assault in the Tuesday morning attack on the 4200 block of Loomis Avenue.
The county sheriff’s office says Walker stabbed another man during an altercation about 8 a.m. and then fled the area on foot. He was arrested nearby after a brief search.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. Authorities did not elaborate on the extent of his injuries.
Records show Walker is being held at the El Paso County jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
