Federal agents and local officers arrested a 30-year-old man in Granby last week wanted on suspicion of a March fatal double shooting in Wisconsin.

Kyle Engen, of Marshall, Wisc., was apprehended April 21 by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, the Granby police and the Grand County Sheriff’s Department.

Engen is suspected in a March 17 shooting in Stevens Point, Wisc., that left one person dead and another injured. Authorities say the shooting happened during an altercation over a drug deal.

Investigators did not say how they tracked Engen to Colorado.

Engen was being held at the Grand County jail pending extradition to Wisconsin.
