Re: Navy SEAL killed while fighting Islamic State in Iraq, May 4 news story.
This US Navy handout photo released May 4 shows Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Charles Keating IV, 31, of San Diego. The Islamic State group broke through Kurdish defenses in northern Iraq on May 3, and killed Keating, deployed as part of the US-led coalition against the jihadists. I was very disappointed after reading the article about Charlie Keating IV. Overall, the article paid tribute to a dedicated young man who made it through the Naval Academy and the Navy SEAL program. He gave his life in service to the United States. However, it was not necessary to include the transgressions that his grandfather had committed in the 1980s. What was the point of that?
