Federal and local drug-enforcement police raided an undisclosed number of locations in Greeley and other parts of Weld County early Thursday and arrested 10 people in the culmination of a nine-month investigation.

The early morning raids by agents with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and officers of the Weld County Drug Task Force cracked down on a criminal organization that had been dealing in heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine, police said in a press release.

The names of those arrested were not immediately disclosed and officers still had at least 14 more warrants to serve.

Police did not offer any details of the raids, the scope of the drugs confiscated or the locations of the houses searched, saying the matter remains under investigation and details will be released at a later time.
