Loveland firefighters made sure Mother’s Day was happy for one lucky feathered mom.
According to a , rescue crews received a call about 10 ducklings that had gotten trapped in a storm drain.
A Loveland resident filmed the ordeal as firefighters worked to save the small ducklings.
The video showed a fearless mother duck who refused to leave the scene as a large dog stood by while firefighters rescued the ducklings.
According to the Facebook video, all 10 ducklings were rescued after several attempts by firefighters. And the courageous mama duck went on to have the best Mother’s Day imaginable.
