Nineties British rockers Stone Roses released a new single today, the band’s first new song in more than 20 years.
“All for One” is a jangling anthem, predicated on catchy guitar riffs that the band became known in part for during their late ’80s heyday. The chorus is bold in its schlock-y idealism, repeating “All for one, / one for all / if we all join hands we’ll make a wall.”
No word on whether or not Stone Roses are working on a full length, but where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
The Stone Roses’ last studio album was 1994’s “Second Coming.”
