A climber stuck on a ledge about 50-feet above Horsetooth Falls was rescued Thursday by emergency responders.

About 20 members of rescue crews with Poudre Fire Authority and Poudre Valley Hospital, as well as the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, performed a high-angle rescue to reach the man who needed help, according to Poudre Fire Authority Twitter posts.

The climber was found on a “safe ledge” and was not injured.

Poudre Fire reported the rescue as its first of the season in the Horsetooth Falls area west of Fort Collins.
