
1 Man arrested after shooting couch, breaking bottles. On May 1, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 3000 block of South Sheridan Boulevard, Bow Mar, where they learned that a man and his wife had argued about the wife hiding his gun, which he had fired at the couch the previous day. During the argument, the man threw bottles of wine and dressing, breaking them. He was arrested.
2 Man accuses ex of kicking car. Deputies went May 2 to King Soopers, 11747 W. Ken Caryl Ave., Ken-Caryl, after a man reported that his ex-wife kicked his car. The man said he met his ex in the parking lot so she could pick up their daughter. He said she became angry while taking their daughter out of his car and kicked the door, leaving two dents. The ex denied kicking the car and said she didn’t even exit hers during the meeting. Video evidence wasn’t clear; no charges were filed.
3 Bags of goods recovered. A woman called deputies May 3 to her home in the 7000 block of West David Drive, Columbine (Littleton), where she said she saw two teens walking along her fence line who said said they were looking for their cigarettes. She later found several bags, including one that contained women’s clothing, an empty wallet and beer.
4 Broken window finally reported. On April 28, a man called police because he said his window had been broken about a month prior. Deputies responded to the 8000 block of West Teton Circle in the Littleton area. The man said he didn’t want to press charges, but needed to file a report for insurance purposes.
