It feels appropriate that fans of “The Bachelor” can meet Season 20 hunk Ben Higgins and fiance Lauren Bushnell at on Saturday since they’ve all, at some point, been shopping for something new and better in an otherwise discount atmosphere.
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, fans of the ABC reality-TV competition can meet new Colorado residents Higgins and Bushnell, as well as Higgins’ friend and former “Bachelorette” contestant (a University of Denver alum), as they pose for photos and hand out long-stem roses to the first 200 attendees.
The free event is scheduled to take place in the outdoor courtyard between Levi’s and Polo Ralph Lauren on the east side of the Outlets.
“Many of our shoppers – along with our own team – are avid Bachelor and Bachelorette fans, and this is sure to be a special celebration for the entire community!” said Andrea Nyquist, marketing director for The Outlets at Castle Rock.
It’s not all shameless self-promotion: In lieu of selling tickets, the shopping center and “Bachelor” stars are encouraging fans to donate to one of Higgins’ favorite nonprofits, , which provides aid in Honduras.
Fans may also remember that Higgins and Bushnell’s first-ever date in Denver hit a snag last month as Higgins in a parking garage next to The Source.
