Aurora police make arrest in double homicide

Suspect under investigation for two first degree murder counts

Aurora police have arrested a 35-year-old man in the , authorities say.

Kenneth Michael Kaminga was arrested for investigation of two counts of first-degree murder.

Kaminga, who has prior drunken driving arrests, is being held in the Arapahoe County jail with no bond.

Police were called about a disturbance in an apartment at 11:45 p.m. at 15573 E. 13th Avenue.

When police arrived, they found two men with multiple gunshot wounds.

There are no other suspects in the murders.

Police are not releasing the names of the victims pending notification of family members by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.

Castle Rock police arrested Kaminga for drunken driving on May 10, 2012. Douglas County deputies arrested him on June 18, 2012 on a drunken driving charge.
