Gen Con 2016 might be months away but Paizo Inc., the company behind the fantasy role-playing game Pathfinder, is already making plans for next year’s Gen Con.
Paizo’s Creative Director, called Starfinder. The Starfinder RPG Core Rulebook is scheduled for release at Gen Con 2017. Starfinder will be based in the current Pathfinder universe and rules and will be completely backwards compatible to all the current Pathfinder classes and races available now.
But Stafinder will also be a standalone product, featuring new classes, races, equipment and more. Paizo will also create Starfinder adventure paths for the new game alongside their normal adventure paths for Pathfinder.
