Katie Couric, executive producer of the new documentary “Under the Gun,” said this week she regrets an edit that misrepresents the response of a gun rights activists to a question about background checks.

I have to agree with most of what Donald Trump says. Politicians and the media have been dancing around the edges of the truth so long, they don’t know what the real truth is — being politically correct, taking things out of context, not telling “the story, the whole story, and nothing but the story,” and slanting the story to match predetermined agendas.

The recent deception by Katie Couric in her “Under the Gun” documentary, where she inserts an 8-second pause, is an excellent example. Inserting the pause is a lie, her denial of editing is a lie, and her “apology” is a lie.
