A mother accused of providing a marijuana brownie that her son ate  in Fort Collins last year was sentenced Wednesday to jail time and probation.

Court records show Julieane Jablonski, 39, was ordered to serve 30 days in jail and two years of probation. She was convicted in April , possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, after a three-day trial.

Jodi Lacey, spokeswoman for the Larimer County district attorney, said Jablonski’s sentence is set to begin June 27.

Lacey said Jablonski also was ordered to undergo substance abuse and mental health evaluations and complete any recommended treatment. The mother also must complete 100 hours of community service and stay away from alcohol, illegal substances and marijuana.

Fort Collins police said Jablonski’s son began acting strangely after eating the marijuana brownie in April 2015. Witness told investigators he then ran toward a living room window and jumped out without hesitation.

Her son, Austin Essig, 19 at the time, suffered serious injuries that were not life-threatening.
