Two Colorado athletes are ranked among the top 100 most famous athletes in the world, according to ESPN.

Recently retired Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Tim Howard made the , released by ESPN on Tuesday. Manning is ranked No. 38, and Howard comes in at No. 96.

Howard is the only American male soccer player on the list and the second-highest U.S. player behind Alex Morgan (No. 55).

Manning is No. 2 among NFL players behind Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (No. 32).

Other athletes with Colorado ties include New York Knicks and former Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony (No. 29) and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (No. 49), a former Colorado Rockies minor-league prospect.

Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo topped the list. Basketball players had the most representation at 20, edging out soccer players (17).
