Thursday marked Game 1 of the NBA Finals, a rematch between the defending champion Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Last year, LeBron James and the Cavs (sans starts Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love) fell to red-hot Stephen Curry and Golden State and the Twitter-verse was all abuzz about round two. Even current and former members of the Denver Broncos got involved in the social media discussion.
Former Broncos linebacker and current Green Bay Packer, Lerentee McCray declared his allegiance early.
All In let's go Cavs

Broncos fans may remember seeing Curry beating the Carolina Panthers’ “Keep Pounding” drum before Denver went on to win Super Bowl 50. Well, the Panthers decided to return the favor.
Good luck in the ! You've made proud.
— Carolina Panthers (@Panthers)
But back to the Broncos. Cornerback Chris Harris noted that this a pivotal series for James, who is playing in his sixth-straight Finals, but believes the Warriors will find a way to win.
LBJ gotta win this Finals lol

I got the Warriors repeating

Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware keeping mum about his pick.
Who ya'll going for? Not giving my cards yet lol lol lol
— D-Ware (@DeMarcusWare)
During the game, the Cavaliers rallied from a double-digit deficit to take the lead in the 3rd quarter. Broncos defensive end and Ohio native Kenny Anunike was pumped.
Don't count us out!! back in this thing!!
— Kenny Anunike (@ANU_NIKE22)
Cleveland’s fire was doused not by Curry or by fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson, but by the Warriors’ supporting cast, notably Shaun Livingston and Leandro Barbosa. Harris noted that Barbosa was in the zone.
Barbosa don't even look to pass lol straight buckets

In the end, the Warriors found a way to win. Of course, Broncos safety T.J. Ward was cheering on his home team. Ward was in attendance at Oracle arena to watch the champs take a 1-0 series lead.
