Police determined shots were fired by a Players Club employee

A shooting at an Adams County strip club early Saturday morning left one man dead, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office said.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to Players Club, 6710 Federal Blvd., around 1:58 a.m. Saturday following a report of shots fired. Deputies found an adult male with gunshot wounds.

Police determined the person responsible for the shooting was an employee. Police did not say if any arrests have been made.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to deputies. No other details were immediately available. 

A phone call to Players Club on Saturday night went unanswered.
