Neighbors fight over soiled jacket. On May 22, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a dispute in the 9000 block of West Chatfield Avenue in the Ken-Caryl area. The altercation started when a man gave a neighbor and his fiancee a jacket, only to have it returned after having been urinated on. The dispute escalated with the man throwing rocks at his neighbor’s house.
Suspicious vehicle reported. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on May 23 that the woman who reported it believed was associated with a vehicle trespass a few days earlier. The woman said she was driving near South Estes Street and West Bowles Avenue in the Littleton area when she was followed by a car that matched the description of one she saw earlier driving away from the crime scene. The officer said he would set up an extra patrol near her home.
Man accuses ex of trying to run him over. On May 27, a man called deputies to report that his ex-girlfriend tried to run him over with her car in the 10000 block of West Ken Caryl Avenue, Ken-Caryl. The man said he and his girlfriend had broken up and she had returned to retrieve some belongings. He said she would have to come back later and she became upset. The woman said she never considered running him over.
Man suspects former friends in suspicious incidents. A man called deputies on May 27 to report that he was being harassed and believed that some former friends and roommates were involved. The man found a parking cone in his yard in the 9200 block of West Ontario Drive and also found a syringe in his flower pot. A basement window was broken, but he could not prove that anyone was involved.
Suspicious man reported. On May 27, a deputy contacted a man behaving suspiciously near the intersection of West Cross Avenue and West Cross Drive in the Littleton area. The man said he was indigent and the deputy drove him to a nearby Wendy’s restaurant.
