Bettis, so good early in this season, hasn’t won a game since May 17 at St. Louis. He desperately needs to find his command to turn around his season. Prior to his last game, Bettis had been bombed for 13 runs in just 8⅓ innings over his previous two starts. , he was only a little better, allowing four runs on 10 hits and one walk in five innings. What really hurt him was a pair of home runs he served up. Locke has three quality starts in his past four games. Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado is hitting .429 (6-for-14) with two doubles, one home run and four RBIs against Locke
