Former state lawmaker Mike Kopp has been named president and chief executive of Colorado Concern, a powerhouse group of more than 100 of the state’s business executives. The Republican, a former state Senate minority leader, has served as the group’s executive director since the end of last year. He ran unsuccessfully in his party’s gubernatorial primary in 2014.

Colorado Concern works to lobby for the state’s business interests.
