A man has been arrested and is being held in connection to a sexual assault that occurred on the Boulder Creek bike path in late May.
An adult female was out for a run around 10 p.m. on May 20 when she was grabbed from behind, threatened with a knife and then sexually assaulted, according to a news release from the Boulder Police Department.
The man, Jonathan Narucki, 26, was linked to the case by DNA evidence, the release said.
He is currently being held at the Boulder County Jail and faces multiple charges of sexual assault, kidnapping, unlawful sexual contact with force, assault and menacing.
Narucki told investigators that he moved from Georgia to Boulder a month ago and has been living as a transient.
