I loved Tom Noel’s article about Lakeside Amusement Park. I have been a fan of Lakeside for many decades and itap nice to know that Noel feels the same way.
One of the reasons I love Lakeside is how it exemplifies family values. To enter Elitch Gardens, a senior citizen has to pay $29.99, even if she doesn’t go on any rides. At Lakeside, a grandparent who just wants to watch her grandkids having fun on some of the greatest kiddie rides I’ve ever seen has to pay only $2.50.
I haven’t gone to Elitch Gardens for more than 15 years, but I can’t wait to take my granddaughters to Lakeside again this summer — and for many, many summers to come.
