Police investigating a crash between a semitrailer and a sedan at U.S. 287 and Niwot Road on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. (Matthew Jonas / Staff Photographer)One person was killed after a semitrailer smashed into a sedan in Niwot this morning, officials said.
The crash was reported at 10:10 a.m. at the intersection of Niwot Road and U.S. 287, according to Colorado State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid.
Reid said one person was pronounced dead on scene, though he did not immediately know which vehicle that person had been driving.
