
Former Colorado Buffaloes star Spencer Dinwiddie is heading to the Windy City.
The guard was traded by the Detroit Pistons to the Chicago Bulls on Friday in exchange for forward/center Cameron Bairstow.
Dinwiddie, 23, averaged 4.4 points and 2.7 assists in 46 games in his two seasons in Detroit. He was drafted by the Pistons in the second round of the 2014 NBA draft (38th pick overall).
After the trade was announced, Dinwiddie went to Twitter to thank the Pistons and their fans. He added, “I’m extremely excited to start this new chapter and be a part of the Bulls organization.”
