Add “Harlem Globetrotters” to Missy Franklin’s list of accomplishments.
The four-time Olympic swimming gold medalist was one of five people selected Monday night in the Globetrotters’ 10th annual player draft. She joins actor Kevin Hart, golfer Jordan Spieth, soccer star Neymar Jr. and 2016 college slam dunk champion Devan Douglas.
“This is such an honor! Better start working on my game,” she tweeted Monday night.

Franklin, who attended Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, is the second-tallest pick from the draft at 6-foot-2 — just an inch shorter than Douglas.
“We like to think outside the box with our draft, so we look at all different kinds of athletes that could have the qualities of a Harlem Globetrotter,” director player personnel and coach Sweet Lou Dunbar said in a news release.
Franklin is the latest athlete with a Colorado connection to be drafted. Rapids goalkeeper Tim Howard was drafted in 2009, and former Nuggets guard Sonny Weems was selected in 2008. Former Mesa Ridge High School star Fatima “TNT” Maddox is on the current roster.
