A passenger in a vehicle traveling on Interstate 25 through downtown Denver on Friday morning was seriously hurt after she jumped or fell from the car she was in.
Christine Downs, a Denver police spokeswoman, said officers were called to the incident about 11:45 a.m.

Investigators say the incident happened in the interstate’s southbound lanes near the Speer Boulevard exit.
Downs said the injured person was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
“They were investigating if she was also struck by another vehicle,” Downs said.
Further details in the case were not immediately released.
