In a 5-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday struck down parts of a Texas law that imposed strict requirements on abortion providers.
The law required doctors who perform abortions at clinics in Texas to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital, and said clinics must meet hospital standards similar to those of surgical centers.
Opponents of the law argued that it unnecessarily restricted access to abortions.
What do you think? Did the court make the right call?
